Cricket Results (19/5)
After defeat last week Chadlington were looking to return to winning ways when they entertained Faringdon for a first ever fixture between the clubs.

Winning the toss and inserting Faringdon in on a damp wicket the home side bowled out the visitors for 95 in 39 overs, with Craig McCallum being the pick of the bowlers taking 3/22.

In reply openers Danny Harding (53*) and Alex Yarnley (38*) put the Faringdon bowlers to the sword with an unbeaten partnership of 97 in 18.3 overs to see the home side win by 10 wickets and pick up maximum points.

The II's were without a fixture this weekend

Cricket Results (12/5)
On a drying wicket visiting Oxford Caribbean batted first and scored 118 in 32.5 overs. Martin Shepherd (4/31) was the pick of the bowling but also received good support from Tom Broughton and Craig McCullam.

In reply the Oxford Caribbean bowlers were quickly into their stride and wickets fall at regular intervals and despite 42 from Danny Harding the home side fell 10 runs short and were bowled out for 108 in the 42nd over.

At E&W Hendred the II's gained their first victory of the season. The home side batted first and after tight opening bowling from Rupert Townsend and Phil McConville skipper Craig Atlas (4/18) led the way to see that the home side bowled out for 105.

In reply a steady 39 from the evergreen Durand Hotham and a patient 23 from Jason Chipchase saw the II's over the line at 107/5 to win by 5 wickets.

Cricket Results (5/5)
A hard hitting 132* from Danny Harding laid the foundation for a big total when Chadlington travelled to E&W Hendred. Useful contributions came from newcomer Alex Varnley (33) and Glenn McCallum (44*) as the visitors posted 243/3.

In reply Stephen Hunt (4/13) and Martin Shepherd (3/11) helped skittle the home side for a lowly 74 leaving Chadlington a win by 169 runs.

At Chadlington the 2nds struggled against the tight bowling from East Oxford III's. In their alloted 45 overs they could only manage 119/7. In reply East Oxford scored 120/5 to win by 5 wickets.

Eynsham take the Points (2/5)
In their only midweek fixture of the season Chadlington were involved in a close game at promotion chasing Eynsham. A goal from Jason Peters gave the Chadlington the lead that they took into the break.

However, the home side scored twice in the second half to snatch all three points. Chadlington's final game of the season is on 12th May at champions-elect Riverside.

Return to Winning Ways (28/4)
Chadlington came out on top by a single goal in five when they travelled to meet Yarnton on a cold and windy afternoon.

Although the home side had the better of the early exchanges first half goals from George Slatter (pictured), returning after his London Marathon run and Stephen Hunt gave the visitors a two goal lead at the break.

With the wind at their backs Yarnton scored twice to level the score going into the last 15 minutes of the game. However, it was Slatter who scored from close range in the 84th minute to secure the points.

Improved Performance (22/4)
Chadlington, fielding a stronger side than in recent weeks, gave a much improved display against championship seeking Charlton-on-Otmoor on a day that saw brilliant sunshine leading turning into a hail storm that lead to the players leaving the field in the second half for a short break.

The first half failed to produce a goal with neither side creating many chances.

Charlton started the second half the brighter of the two sides and following a period of pressure took the lead in the 75th minute when Coates headed in from a corner.

They added a second to rap up the points seven minutes from time when Davidson scored from a penalty following a foul in the area by Kevin Mulhearn.

No return from B&NN (14/4)
Broughton & North Newington scored four goals without reply to secure a 4-0 home win. Chadlington were trailing one-nil at half-time and conceded three further goals in the second half.

Although the scoreline is disappointing three goals were shots from outside the area, two of which were like 'bullets', and Chadlington had what appeared to be a good goal from Martin Plumbridge taken away courtesy of the home linesman!

With a few minutes to go they also managed to miss their seventh penalty of the season when Shaun Bennett saw his shot well saved by the home 'keeper.

Charlton hit Five (7/4)
Chadlington travelled to in-form Charlton-on-Otmoor with a much depleted team due to players being unavailable and although they gave a spirited display the home side ran out comfortable 5-0 winnners.

Charlton took the lead in the 38th minute and then added a second shortly afterwards to lead by two goals at the break.

The home side added three further goals in the second half to take all three points.
